Description
Are you a professional surveyor looking for an opportunity to advance your career? RETTEW, a leading engineering consulting firm, seeks an energetic and goal-oriented Professional Land Surveyor or an S.I.T. to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location: Allentown, Lancaster, and Philadelphia, PA areas
Responsibilities:
- Prepare project budgets, proposals, and technical reports as well as review.
- The ability to certify completed survey work is a plus.
- Supervise boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys.
- Conduct research for survey projects.
- Prepare calculations for field crews.
- Give specific direction and guidance to field crews and office staff including on-site management as needed.
- Prepare final survey maps and land boundary descriptions following standard surveying practices.
- Ability to see projects through from field to finish.
Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania Professional Land Survey License (PLS) or S.I.T. seeking Pennsylvania PLS Licensure.
- Minimum five years of experience in Transportation, Land Development, ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Construction, or Utility Surveys.
- Must be proficient with GPS, Robotic survey equipment, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles and practices.
- Proficient in the use of surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work in the office and field (if needed).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
