About Return Home
Return Home is the world’s first large-scale human composting (terramation) facility, providing families with a transparent, gentle, and meaningful alternative to traditional death care. We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our team and bring our mission to life through engaging, educational, and thought-provoking content. This role requires an in-house presence to capture real moments, tell authentic stories, and build a community around death positivity.
Job Responsibilities
- Create & Edit Content – Develop short-form videos, photos, and graphics for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other platforms that engage and educate audiences on terramation.
- On-Site Content Capture – Film and photograph daily operations, team members, family interactions (as permitted), facility tours, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Manage Social Media Accounts – Schedule and publish posts, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement.
- Trend Research – Stay ahead of industry and social media trends, leveraging viral formats and relevant topics to increase reach.
- Monitor Performance – Track engagement, viewership, and other key metrics, adjusting content strategies based on insights.
- Collaborate with the Team – Work closely with the marketing team to align content with Return Home’s messaging and brand voice.
Requirements
- 1 years of experience in social media content creation (brand, influencer, or agency experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook algorithms and engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in short-form video creation, filming, and editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Veed, or similar software.
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software.
- Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills for engaging captions and messaging.
- Comfortable being on camera and working with others to create content.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.
Compensation & Benefits
- $20-$25 an hour with Performance-based bonus structure for viral content
