Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Oversee and support the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational objectives.
- Develop and communicate operational goals, KPIs, and client SLA requirements, embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and drive inventory accuracy, productivity, and quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
- Manage facility fiscal performance, including budgets, P&L, and GL tracking, ensuring operational efficiency and cost control.
- Direct, coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve company objectives and foster top talent through recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, embedding health and safety best practices into daily operations.
- Ensure facility and equipment maintenance, including the implementation of preventative maintenance programs for equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Coordinate staffing and labor availability to meet volume requirements, reviewing reports and metrics to optimize department operations.
- Build client relationships, supporting retention and growth strategies, including preparing QBRs and monthly reporting.
- Support the development and adherence to ReturnPro Standard Operating Procedures and Lean principles, collaborating with Industrial Engineers to drive best practices.
- Oversee housekeeping measures to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the logistics/warehouse industry with demonstrated management qualifications.
- Proven experience leading sixty-five plus associates in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management, with a preference for Six Sigma or Lean certifications.
- Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes, quality systems and standards, and process improvement techniques.
- Expertise in business, finance, and management principles, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety standards and compliance with working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and project management abilities.
