Description

We are seeking a Social Media & Digital Engagement Specialist to manage and optimize social media content, email and SMS marketing, and online community engagement for our various brands including Direct Liquidation, GoWholesale, VIP Outlet, and ReturnPro. This role will be crucial for increasing brand awareness, fostering customer engagement, and supporting lead generation across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Social Media Management & Content Scheduling
    • Oversee and schedule posts across key platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
    • Develop and execute organic and paid social media strategies that align with marketing objectives.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and platform changes to continuously optimize engagement and performance.
    • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including text, images, videos, and interactive media.
    • Foster strong relationships with followers by engaging in comments, direct messages, and Facebook groups.



  • Live Auctions & Webinars
    • Coordinate and manage live webinars and auctions on platforms like TikTok and Whatnot, ensuring technical execution and audience engagement.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute live-streamed content and campaigns.



  • Email Marketing & SMS Campaigns
    • Plan, design, and execute daily email blasts for Direct Liquidation and GoWholesale, collaborating with sales teams to highlight featured products.
    • Develop and execute weekly SMS marketing campaigns for VIP Outlet and GoWholesale, ensuring effective messaging and customer engagement.
    • Utilize CRM tools to manage and optimize email and SMS campaigns for lead generation and sales.



  • Community Engagement & Moderation
    • Actively engage with online communities and social media followers, responding to comments and queries in a timely manner.
    • Support employee advocacy programs to amplify internal brand messaging.



  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns.
    • Report on the performance of social media advertising campaigns, including A/B testing and optimizations for reach and engagement.



  • Collaboration & Cross-Team Support
    • Work closely with content creators, designers, and campaign managers to ensure social media content aligns with overarching marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social campaigns drive business goals and enhance overall customer engagement.


Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in social media management, particularly in B2B or e-commerce environments.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
  • Proven ability to execute both organic and paid social media strategies, including managing ads and performing A/B testing.
  • Strong proficiency with email marketing platforms like HubSpot, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp.
  • Ability to manage and optimize SMS campaigns using CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with a creative mindset and an eye for design.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in B2B, SaaS, logistics, or e-commerce marketing.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) and video editing tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO and its impact on social media strategy.
