Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma / Equivalency.
- Previous patient care experience required.
- Enrolled in nursing program or other health related field preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required.
- Competency in Phlebotomy.
- Effective June 25, 2021, ER Technicians must complete de-escalation training within 1 year of hire or transfer to the Emergency Room.
- Successful completion of hands on / unit orientation / Nursing Technician classes as assigned.
Summary
As an ER Technician, you will be an essential member of the emergency medicine team, providing critical support in a fast-paced hospital environment. Responsibilities
- Provide immediate patient care in the emergency room, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform catheterization, IV insertion, and venipuncture as required.
- Assist in suturing and other medical procedures under the supervision of physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Uphold BLS certification by responding effectively to emergencies and providing basic life support.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
