What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visitation Facilitator position at Reunified Services?

Hiring qualified independent sub-contractors to join our team in providing safe Family Time visits to our clients in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and King counties. Be responsible for safely transporting children in foster care to and from court-ordered visits with their biological, noncustodial parent(s). Be responsible for writing detailed, non-biased documentation of parent(s) and child(ren) interactions and behaviors.
One year of experience working with children in a paid or volunteer position is required.
This is a sub-contractor position. Sub-contractor positions do not have medical benefits or paid vacation.
Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age or older – State requirement;
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent;
· Must be able to pass a WA State background check;
· Must have reliable transportation, possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance;
· Must have a clean driving record;
· Must have 1-year of experience working or volunteering with children
· Must like to drive;
· Must be willing to obtain an LLC business license;
· Must be dependable, a self-starter, punctual, and flexible.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry infants and/or young children;
- Ability to assure the safety of the children which can require moving quickly;
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Skill Set:
· Work independently;
· Provide non-judgmental, observations;
· Write objective, behaviorally descriptive reports;
· Assure confidentiality;
· Experience using a computer or laptop for documentation.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
- Flexibility to make own work schedule
