Server General Purpose:
Serves guests food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner. Assists with department training, development and implementing customer service standards.
Server Essential Duties:
Ensures guests are immediately attended to upon arrival and manages customer traffic flow on the restaurant floor.
Responds to customer questions or concerns regarding any menu item or various other facets of food service.
Ensures guests are satisfied with the service provided and that items are replenished as needed.
Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to management.
Processes cash and check transactions. Utilizes the point of sales system and trains new associates.
Follows established cash handling procedures and ensures that other staff adhere to procedures.
Develops opening and closing checklists.
Ensures established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques are followed.
Ensures all service associates are knowledgeable of the menu items.
Assists the department manager in interviewing, training, planning and assigning work. Make recommendations when hiring, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates. Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Servers, Hosts.
Assists in monitoring business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Bartender General Purpose:
Maintains bar and serves guests in accordance with in established standards and with hospitality and professionalism.
Bartender Essential Duties:
Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
Maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed.
Ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
Performs opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
On occasion serves meals to guests.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
