Position Summary : Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Professional Development Coordinator (PDC) / Employee Health Nurse will identify, create, and or coordinate opportunities in departmental education to build competencies related to clinical delivery, programming, communication, and patient satisfaction. The PDC will collaborate with all facility leadership in the development of an Educational Needs Assessment to be completed on an initial and annual basis. This position will utilize Nobis Rehabilitation Partners Compliance and Quality data to aid in the development of additional training for all staff within the organization. Under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the PDC coordinates and maintains Employee Health files and Employee Health testing results beginning upon hire and annually thereafter. While maintaining full confidentiality, this position will provide reporting metrics to ensure all required elements of the Employee Health file are completed upon hire and subsequently annually thereafter.
