Chief Nursing Officer

Position Summary : The CNO develops department goals, objectives, standards of performance, policies, and procedures; organizes the department in accordance with administrative guidelines in order to provide specified nursing services to meet the legal, organizational, and medical staff guidelines, works with administration in evaluating proposed procedural changes as they relate to patient care; has the authority and responsibility for establishing, directing the implementation and ensures compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice.Pay : Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.Minimum Qualifications : Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations (unrestricted) required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and / or American Red Cross.
