Job Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all cutlery, glassware, food machines, etc.
• Ability to keep open and effective communication with fellow coworkers and leadership
• Ensure all equipment is running properly and safely before start of shift to ensure efficiency of the department
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all cutlery, glassware, food machines, etc.
• Keep the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Keeps dish room clean and organized.
• Sweep and mops kitchens.
• Ensure trash is taken to the dumpster periodically.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
• Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures are being followed
• Responsible for storing all clean cutlery and glassware in the proper area
• Completing any other task/duties assigned

• Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
• Kitchen, housekeeping, or steward experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
• Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.
