What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Clerk (2nd Shift 3pm to 11pm) position at Rev-A-Shelf?

With the acquisition of Tresco Lighting, Rev-A-Shelf now offers a full line of LED lighting options for residential & commercial cabinetry and store display fixtures.
Rev-A-Shelf is currently looking for a Inventory Control Clerk to perform inventory counts, investigate and correct discrepancies, ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
Position responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled cycle counts / re-counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust inventory accordingly.
- Resolve inventory issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory reports according to standard documentation and archiving procedures.
- Provide back up support to receiving and the warehouse group when and where needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential skills and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including general familiarity of computer systems/typing
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Read English and Basic Math Skills
Preferred skills and experience:
- 1-year experience in inventory control is preferred
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck, cherry picker and scissor lift are preferred. Training can be provided if needed.
Physical Demands: Subjected to lifting fifty (50) pounds, repetitive bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, standing and sitting, with or without accommodation. Cannot be afraid of heights.
