Rev-A-Shelf, LLC, a world leader in home organization and storage products is looking for an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager to join our team.
This position is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, preventative measures, and ongoing maintenance of facilities & equipment. With a diverse skill set in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical knowledge, the Maintenance/Facilities Manager ensures co-workers have safe and functional equipment and facilities to complete their duties.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
- Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
- Create and implement maintenance procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
- Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
- Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
- Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
- Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
- Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
- Maintain vendor relationships, agreements, contracts, and/or leases.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee work performed by external vendors.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain, Develop, and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation of equipment.
- Lead, train, and support maintenance staff, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and coordinate facility improvements.
- Oversee and support Environmental, Health, and Safety Objectives & Compliance. Working with the EH&S Coordinator on various responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, administration or facility management
- Minimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics.
- Effective communication and people management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of the technical features of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
