- Job Description:

Located in the heart of Roseburg, we specialize in high-quality auto body repairs and refinishing services. Our state-of-the-art facility and dedicated team ensure that every vehicle leaves our shop in pre-collision condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refinish all assigned vehicles to pre-accident condition according to the written work-order while ensuring all required procedures are documented and accounted for.
- Follow all paint manufacturer and shop guidelines.
- Ensure that all paint operations are complete, all masking is removed, and painted panels are buffed and free of imperfections
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance guidelines for hazardous waste disposal, municipal codes, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and organized work area and equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge sufficient to properly complete painting assignments.
- Responsible for cleaning, sanding, and applying chemical solutions to prepare and condition surfaces prior to painting.
- Plan efficient work procedures using technical manuals and knowledge of surface preparations and painting techniques, arranging to obtain timely delivery of paint and necessary materials.
- Able to do physical activity, including but not limited to bending, squatting, and the ability to lift over 50lbs.
Qualifications
- I-CAR Gold Certification required; Platinum preferred
- High school diploma or vocational certificate preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as an Automotive Painter
- Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials
- Attention to detail and a high level of precision
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Excellent color vision and ability to match paint colors accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good judgment and critical thinking skills
- Experience spraying Axalta waterborne products preferred. Training provided for otherwise qualified applicants.
