ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and provide excellent customer service
- Guide guests through the beer menu, offering samples and recommendations
- Accurately pour and serve beer, maintaining appropriate presentation and portion standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar/taproom area
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and adhere to all responsible serving guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during high-volume hours
- Handle transactions via POS system and manage tabs accurately
- Assist with events, tastings, and beer releases as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 21 years of age
- Previous bartending or serving experience preferred (especially in beer-centric environments)
- Passion for craft beer with a desire to learn more (Cicerone certification is a plus!)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for the entire length of shift.
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, carrying, walking, sitting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
