Job Summary:
Develop, maintain, and assist in implementing quality control systems and procedures to help achieve internal and regulatory requirements. Assisted with continuous improvement projects that support the business goals. Improvement projects will involve production departments, Engineering, and Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement projects through focused Kaizens to achieve measured results and targeted hard savings.
- Support Lean activities for documentation issues.
- Assist with the development of SOPs ( Standard Operating Procedures)
- Assist and help develop shop floor documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate waste and troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues.
- Coach and train hourly and salary employees on related Lean improvements.
- Help support and develop a culture that promotes operational excellence and continuous improvements.
- Must be able to communicate the scope of projects effectively.
- Coordinate, monitor, and drive project activities
- Provide active participation in continuous improvement projects
Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):
- 2-3 years experience
- Passion for change and continuous improvement, must be self-motivated, have initiative, and have a positive attitude.
- Able to train and impart knowledge to others and to learn quickly
- Proven ability to plan and prioritize work through basic project management skills
- Demonstrated high-performance levels and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team management skills and the capability to lead change
- Able to work effectively across different organizational levels, from shop floor to BU management
- Team Player: Must possess the ability to lead, work with teams, be part of a team, and understand team dynamics (forming, storming, norming, performing).
