Job Summary:

The Manager, Procurement Indirect, is responsible for leading the indirect procurement strategy across REV Group locations. This energetic leader will oversee indirect procurement functions related to category management and strategic supplier relationship management. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic and operational initiatives through developing and executing the company’s strategy, as well as negotiating and managing complex contracts across various sourcing categories. Areas of support include travel, marketing, facilities, packaging, print, CapEx, services, MRO, and IT. The position involves close collaboration with Legal, Plant Operations, IT, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, and Finance teams.

This role can be performed onsite, remote, or hybrid depending on location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides consultation to senior leadership and represents the indirect procurement organization.

• Provide consultation to senior leadership and represent the indirect procurement organization.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement an indirect spend strategy, managed internally or through third-party providers, to optimize costs and service.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to reduce indirect spending while meeting internal performance expectations.
• Coach and develop all levels of the Indirect Procurement organization.
• Establish a comprehensive supplier management process with metrics and continuous improvement of goods and services provided to REV Group.
• Implement strategic and operational excellence to ensure best-in-class processes.
• Set the team’s strategic roadmap and monitor execution through SLAs and metrics.
• Build strong relationships with business units, serving as a key stakeholder and adviser.
• Develop and execute annual strategic sourcing plans to achieve annual goals.
• Guide and coach the team in identifying and leading strategic RFP efforts to drive value.
• Identify key supply partners and establish professional strategic and operational partnerships.
• Manage the procurement lifecycle, including strategic sourcing, contract preparation, negotiation, and administration.
• Identify and execute cost-saving and risk-mitigation opportunities through sourcing, contract terms, and process optimization.
• Provide guidance to employees at all levels on purchasing processes, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Legal, Accounting, and FP&A teams to ensure accurate payments and month-end close cycles.
• Develop and recommend process and system enhancements to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
• Influence internal business units to adopt the supplier management process and provide support for its adaptation to individual disciplines.
• Oversee RFP package preparation and analysis, and manage negotiation, implementation, and compliance for service provider contracts and rates.
• Drive performance in supplier execution, ensuring productivity, quality, and staffing requirements are met.
• Identify gaps in effective indirect spend management techniques and develop plans to address them.
• Assist in developing expense budgets.
• Oversee reporting and metrics to drive business optimization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven ability to build successful working relationships and influence at all levels.

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in writing and amending contracts, terms, and conditions.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 35%.
• Experience in large contract negotiations and managing multi-million-dollar supplier relationships.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 10 years of experience in procurement or a related discipline involving strategy, contracts, and negotiations.
