ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Oversee in-stadium operations, including cleaning, construction, upkeep, and general maintenance, to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition for all events
Prepare the stadium for Railroaders games and other events by setting up tables for groups, placing garbage cans, arranging the concourse, and ensuring the facility is clean and ready before gates open.
Conduct daily inspections of in-stadium signage, ensuring all signs are properly displayed, and flags are intact, flying correctly, and free from obstructions.
Support facility security through routine checks, including inspecting suites and clubhouses to confirm lights are off and temperature settings are appropriate for weather conditions.
Maintain and repair inflatable games and related equipment, ensuring their quality and readiness for events, and transport equipment to off-site locations as needed.
Assist with field operations, including turf care, pitching mound maintenance, batting practice setup and teardown, and other tasks as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the facility and events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should possess at least minimal sports knowledge.
Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work with your hands and in adverse weather conditions.
The ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Possess strong time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours throughout the entire season for not only baseball games but also outside events.
Strong desire and pride in the workplace and its overall operation to make it the best in sports.
Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
Possess experience in general maintenance with a basic knowledge of basic tools.
Ability to conduct self professionally both in personal appearance and attitude.
The ability to have fun while performing any task.
Be a leader in customer service.
Preferred candidates are pursuing college credit for the internship.
