The Allen Americans are a professional hockey club in the ECHL. Championship Hockey is the backbone of the American's franchise since being founded prior to the 2009-10 season, with the Red, White and Blue having captured two ECHL Kelly Cup Championships (2014-15 & 2015-16) and two Central Hockey League President's Cups (2012-13 & 2013-14). Americans’ home games are played at the Allen Event Center, which is located in The Village at Allen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Support the marketing team with pregame and in-game activations, including concourse booths, special ticket package events, and other fan engagement experiences.
- Arrive prior to each game to assist with setting up activation areas and ensuring all materials and equipment are in place for fan experiences.
- Serve as a welcoming and approachable representative of the organization, answering basic questions from fans, such as directions to seating sections, concession locations, or event details.
- Assist with on-ice performance logistics by safely placing and removing carpets or mats for pregame choirs, ceremonial puck drops, paid group performances, and other special presentations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- A friendly and enthusiastic attitude toward fan engagement.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the game schedule.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move event materials as needed.
- Comfortable walking or standing for extended periods during games.
- Ability to work on or near the ice surface during performances and activations.
