Job Summary:
The Contracts Manager is responsible formanaging, negotiating, and overseeing service contracts and agreements in afield service organization. This position ensures that all contracts meetcompany standards and legal requirements, align with business objectives, andare executed in a timely and effective manner. The Contracts Manager will actas the primary point of contact between the company and clients for contractualmatters, ensuring both parties uphold their obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage servicecontracts, agreements, and amendments.
Ensure contracts are compliant with legal,regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Maintain a contract management system fortracking key contract milestones, renewals, and expirations.
Oversee the lifecycle of contracts frominitiation through execution and closure.
Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers,and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms.
Ensure pricing, scope of work, anddeliverables align with company policies and client needs.
Resolve disputes and negotiate contractchanges as needed.
Risk Mitigation:
Identify, assess, and mitigate potentialrisks related to service contracts.
Work closely with legal, finance, andoperations teams to ensure risk management strategies are in place.
Ensure insurance requirements, liabilityprovisions, and compliance clauses are incorporated into contracts.
Client Relationships:
Serve as the primary point of contact forcontractual matters with clients.
Ensure strong communication and maintainpositive relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
Support project managers and field serviceteams in understanding contractual obligations and client expectations.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure that all contracts comply withinternal standards, industry regulations, and government requirements.
Maintain records of contract performance,audits, and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) .
Provide reports on contract performance,profitability, and compliance to senior management.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams(finance, legal, operations, sales) to ensure cohesive contract strategies.
Provide training and guidance to fieldservice and sales teams on contractual processes and obligations.
Qualifications & Skills:
5 years of experience in contractmanagement, preferably in a field service or technical service environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, andinterpersonal skills.
Knowledge of contract law and relevantindustry regulations.
Proficiency with contract managementsoftware or related systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizationalskills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts anddeadlines simultaneously.
Preferred:
Experience working in industries such asutilities, telecom, ROTATING EQUIMPMENT SERVICE AND REPAIR, or engineeringservices.
Certified Professional Contracts Manager(CPCM) or similar certification.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Timely execution and renewal of contracts.
Reduction in contract-related disputes orissues.
Compliance with internal and externalcontract requirements.

Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional travel toclient sites as needed.
