On-Site Case Management Specialist – Medicaid Eligibility Screening
RevCare, Inc. has multiple openings at a large health system in the Dayton metropolitan area (various locations). We are looking for self-motivated individuals with strong customer service skills and a desire to assist customers in a patient-facing environment. These positions will have varied scheduling options "including but not limited to", M-F, weekends, evenings, etc. This is based upon our client's need.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for delivering first in class Medicaid Eligibility Screening services in a professional setting. As a vendor partner, RevCare Specialists go bedside within the hospital to screen patients who have no insurance, Medicare only coverage, or patients who have limited resources to combat medical costs. RevCare assists the patient by following a detailed, step-by-step process to obtain the benefits and assistance they qualify for from start to finish. Full-Time: varying shift
$15 -$20 per hour with a full benefit package (after 90 days)
Requirements:
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screen/Interview patient’s bedside and over the phone to determine possible eligibility for any assistance programs available including Medicaid, HCAP, Financial Assistance & Social Security Disability
- Discover and provide Client with updated or missed demographic and insurance information to process medical claims efficiently
- Collaborate professionally with hospital personnel by providing assistance, process updates, and other duties as needed
- Assist patients with all parts of application processes for benefits to resolve medical costs
- Mediate with County and State to ensure application processes are completed timely and accurately
- Combine resources with other team members to effectively and efficiently resolve cases
- Walk from onsite office to patient’s rooms, as well as stand during screenings for more than half of the day.
- Self-starter/able to work independently
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· 4-year degree preferred or equivalent work experience
· High School diploma or GED required
· Prior work experience in a healthcare environment and/or customer service area preferred
-Medicaid & Social Security Disability process knowledge a plus
· Must have basic computer skills, be able to multitask, and work independently as well as part of a team
· Daily attendance and dependability is a must
· Ability to apply knowledge of federal and state programs to benefit coverage for the patient
· Reliable transportation required, preferably a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
· Bilingual (Spanish) helpful

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
