Job Description
Our client in New York, NY has a hybrid contract opportunity for a Global Strategic Sourcing Analyst who will be coming into a sourcing / procurement team to assist teams’ ongoing negotiations with day-to-day analytical, data and Excel support. While the candidate will report to the Strategy & Analytics Lead, it is important to operate as a utility player, able to flex across different types of projects, responsibilities, and support different teams in multiple regions and countries.
On-site / hybrid : NY, NY, can work hybrid with 2-3 days in office (may vary as needed depending on team needs), onsite days of the week flexible as needed
Hours : Working eastern time zone hours for NY team, 9-6pm eastern standard hours
Responsibilities :
The successful candidate will be analyzing the negotiations of client’s Strategic Sourcing team. This includes extensive work across Single Source of Truth platforms such as Salesforce for vendor and initiative management, Asana for project management, iManage for tracking contracts and new agreements, SpendHQ for global spend cube, and Excel for performing ad hoc analytics.
Updates and cleanse Single Source of Truth database by identifying data gaps for vendors, contracts and initiatives, collaborating with various teams to ensure completeness.
Utilize Asana to track deliverables, key objectives and data needs.
Pursue best-in-class practices for the use of Asana to manage projects. Organize, review and prioritize tasks in Asana. Work across teams to get updates.
Support project management activities by capturing main points and action items from working sessions, and transcribing those into tasks for Asana.
Perform variance analysis, develop and produce reports, and support SpendHQ data global spend cube team.
Must Haves :
Looking for a minimum of 2 years experience
Intermediate project management skills.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with SAAS tools like Salesforce, Asana, SpendHQ and iManage, as well as AI tools like Copilot and other Large Language Models.
Strong attention to detail. Motivated self-starter.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to key stakeholders.
Ability to work across multiple regions, both domestic and international.
Attention to detail and reviewing analytical information is key for this role, primary focus is on their analytical skills with Excel, and their Salesforce SAP, Oracle based tools as needed
Preference is for applicants who have worked with a variety of tools who are experienced with working in multiples tools at a time.
