Job Overview
- This role supports various business areas and Information Security by assisting with processes and technology.
- The position collaborates with teams in other Information Security disciplines, infrastructure, and operations to provide superior protection for Retail Services information assets.
- Identify process gaps and drive the development of new processes to address them. Escalate issues as necessary and partner with peers or leadership to resolve problems and risks.
- Understand common Information Security tools and technologies. Maintain relevant documentation, including run books, project updates, process documentation, architecture, and technical requirements.
- Fundamental understanding of the InfoSec team's strategy and vision. Actively support initiatives within the InfoSec team and the broader organization.
- Partnership skills are essential to identify and understand drivers for change, collaborate with leadership, and deliver results.
- Provide alternative options or supporting information when saying no to business or IT requests. Establish credibility, trustworthiness, and respect among leadership and peers.
- Stay up-to-date on new technical developments and share knowledge within the department.
- Proactively identify potential issues and deliver well-reasoned solutions.
- Analyze data using Excel Pivot Tables, database queries, and other data-driven analysis tools. Create presentations at various levels of abstraction using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, or equivalent tools.
