Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional IT support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Duties
- Provide technical support to end-users for both hardware and software issues, including Windows and Mac OS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure problems, ensuring minimal downtime for users.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
- Manage help desk tickets using Remedy or similar ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on office equipment and software applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance user experience.
- Document technical procedures and create user guides to assist staff with common IT issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field, with a strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Mac OS).
- Proficiency in software troubleshooting and familiarity with IT infrastructure components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience with help desk operations and ticketing systems such as Remedy is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
