Petroleum Service Technician
We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Service Technician to install, repair and maintain fuel dispenser equipment, tank monitoring systems, and point-of-sale systems at gasoline stations and convenience stores.
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot and repair Gilbarco fuel dispensers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and related equipment
- Service and maintain Verifone POS systems, cash registers, and peripheral devices
- Inspect, test, and repair Veeder-Root automatic tank gauge (ATG) systems
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Red Jacket submersible turbine pumps and line leak detectors
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operating errors
- Complete routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Accurately document all service activities and maintain repair logs
- Provide training to customers on equipment operation as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience servicing petroleum equipment, ATGs, and POS systems
- Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems
- Thorough understanding of fuel dispenser operations, inventory management, and environmental compliance
- Experience with Gilbarco, Verifone, Veeder-Root and Red Jacket equipment strongly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Proficient with basic computer applications and mobile devices
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service orientation
