Field Service Engineer – Los Angeles, CA
Position Overview :
A leading company in the machine tool industry is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join the team in the Los Angeles area. The role involves the installation, repair, and upgrading of CNC equipment and systems. This position is based in Schaumburg, IL, and services the Western Territories. Engineers at various levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide post-sales support including technical and operational training, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC machining equipment and peripherals.
- Plan and coordinate activities related to equipment installation, repair, and upgrades.
- Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to prioritize and execute tasks.
- Examine machinery and communicate with operators to identify mechanical or human errors.
- Advise management and factory engineers on equipment defects, customer satisfaction, and product improvements.
