In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of instrumentation and equipment processing, including decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, scanning, storage, and distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the processing of reusable instrumentation and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory/accrediting body requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality in the Central Sterile area.
- Collaborate with the Perioperative Supply and Equipment Specialist for loaner equipment as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have certification as a Central Service Technician (CRCST) from a nationally recognized organization and excellent communication skills.
