About the job:
· Greeting all pet parents with a smile and friendly tone
· Answering multiple phone lines and following up with clients
· Checking patients in and invoicing their visit
· Scheduling appointments
· Forward scheduling
· Credit card and cash transactions
· Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
· Recording messages for doctors and staff
· Updating patient charts and requesting previous records
· Handling ingoing and outgoing email
· Retrieve prescriptions
· Assist with pet supply purchases such as food and grooming items
· Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room and restrooms
· Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
· Provide accurate and complete information by using the right methods and tools for success
· Go the extra mile to engage customers

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE

Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shifts
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of veterinary field experience required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels of the organization including management, employees and customers.
- Must be able to pass drug test
