JOB DESCRIPTION
FANgineers play a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days – they help engineer a great experience by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas on game day. FANgineers serve as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests while maintaining the operational policies in place for all premium seating areas.
FANgineers also serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:
- Act as game day ambassadors for the Hospitality Office and Athletics Department.
- Perform G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff.
- Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld.
- Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols.
- Perform pre-, during-, and post-game duties associated with the premium areas (i.e., fulfilling requests, disposing trash, monitoring facility needs and food & beverage needs, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
AVAILABILITY and OPPORTUNITIES
- Must be available to work the MexTour Soccer Match in Kenan Stadium on June 10, 2025.
- FANgineers are hourly employees. Hours on game day will range between 5 – 8 hours depending on the game schedule and game preparation needs.
- FANgineers are expected to work the entire game day shift, which typically begins 90 minutes before stadium gates open and ends approximately 40 minutes post-game.
- An opportunity may be available to work the day before the game day for additional hours.
