Senior Associate Attorney
We are a leading plaintiffs law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in handling long-term disability insurance bad faith disputes for policyholders nationwide. With over 30 years of experience in the field, our firm has obtained record judgments and settlements on behalf of our clients. We represent individuals with disabilities, typically high-profile individuals, doctors, dentists and other professionals. We sue insurance companies for corporate malfeasance when they unlawfully deny disability claims. Our law firm has been featured on 60 Minutes, the Wall Street Journal, Dateline, and various national newspapers. We also actively work with Congress to advocate for insurance reform.
Role Description
This is a full-time role as a Senior Associate Attorney. As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and handling long-term disability insurance bad faith disputes in federal and state court. There will be opportunities to handle a growing personal injury practice, as well and get trial experience. While this role is primarily located in Los Angeles, CA, we offer flexibility for some remote work. Our goal is to hire an individual with at least three years of civil litigation experience. Salary range between $100-180k, depending on qualifications, with incentive-based compensation as well.
Qualifications
Strong background in litigation, rules of civil procedure, discovery, depositions and trial preparation
Excellent legal research skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience in insurance claim disputes is a plus
Admission to the Bar in the state of California
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
