Job Description
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data from various sources. They will analyze patterns and trends then prepare and report findings to relevant members of management. The means which data needs to be collected may vary as will the deadline for gathering said data.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Define and implement data acquisition methods
• Conducts statistical analyses to develop strategies and answer business needs
• Maintain consistent means of data collection and delivery
• Identifies data patterns and trends
• Presents information using data visualization techniques
• Documents all processes and research

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Strong math skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, applied math or related field required. Master’s degree preferred
• Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
• At least two years’ experience with SQL and statistical software packages (Python, R, SAS) required
• Experience using business intelligence tools and data frameworks
Environmental Conditions
Indoor climate-controlled environment. Moderate to quiet noise level
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and in the written form. The employee is physically required to utilize a laptop and other electronic devices effectively. The employee must lift and/or move up to 20 pounds (laptop computer, bag, and accessories). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
