Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing standard and tailored client-facing training materials, primarily in Word and Adobe, and eventually PowerPoint. This role ensures our proprietary and confidential Intellectual Property (“IP”) is well organized, electronically filed with version control, secure, and accessible to appropriate individuals. Ensuring we keep our IP safe and secure, not sharing editable files is vital.
Working under the guidance of the Senior Development Project Leader, this position works within the Development timeline to meet our client delivery commitments for client-ready secured print files and other materials, and in the future facilitator PPTs. This person edits, formats, writes, and creates such files, working closely with the SMEs and the Development team for updating and creating IP, including participant workbooks, handouts, agendas, eBooks, templates, and job aids.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Standard Materials Production and File Management
- Client Material Fulfillment Management
- Perform editing tasks for Marketing needs or Learning Management System needs
- Perform other duties as requested by Revenue Storm leadership
Requirements for role:
- Mastery of MS Word is required. Using sophisticated style formats is highly preferred; headers, footers, pagination, and table of contents are a must.
- Proficiency of Standard Adobe Acrobat to create green-friendly forms with space for writing in the document, as well as securing files with passwords, and restricted editing.
- Experience with PowerPoint is required, including animations, edits, formatting, and graphing.
- Working knowledge of Project Management software and Cloud Storage systems, including Box and SharePoint.
- Strong editing skills, proficient in the use of Style Guides, command of the English Language (grammar, punctuation, mechanics, etc.)

Education:
- Bachelor’s (Preferred) in English, Communication, Journalism, or Marketing Communications.
Experience:
- Solid experience in versioning control is required.
- 3 years of experience working in a Corporate Training & Development group with responsibility for creating training materials is strongly desired.
- 3 years of writing or editing experience is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of Sales/Marketing methodology is desired. Project management experience is desired. Experience with copyrights and trademarks is a plus.
