POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
This position is the primary commercial interface for a set of assigned accounts and is responsible for orders and margin growth of the assigned accounts. As Account Manager II, you will be responsible for meeting quarterly quotas while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will focus on acquiring additional revenue streams from existing customers and will provide accurate job estimating. You will collaborate with fellow Account Managers and sales leaders identifying and implementing sales strategies that drive growth. You will leverage internal and external resources who contribute to developing estimates and proposals. You will make frequent visits and actively engage your assigned accounts. You will create and execute an annual growth strategy and forecast for each assigned account.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Function as the account owner and primary sales resource accountable for orders from assigned accounts, typically $4M - $6M .
· Demonstrate expertise on Revere Control Systems estimating systems, engineering practices and applications related to the assigned accounts.
· Lead major sales pursuits at assigned accounts.
· Develop and execute account strategies that optimize Gross Profit at the time of order entry.
· Meet deadlines for proposals and project pursuit milestones.
· Develop materials from clients necessary for accurate and complete proposals.
· Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of Revere's full suite of competencies.
· Represent Revere at shows and events relevant to the assigned account or industry.
· Provide frequent customer contact and expand contacts and influence at senior levels within the customer.
· Perform analysis of estimate and job performance in a quarterly summary to management.
· Develop practices, templates and other estimating efficiency measures that improve overall cost to quote KPI.
· Log estimating time by opportunity number into the time system.
· Serve as the primary customer contact for all jobs in process; communicate identified issues, concerns, and problems to other team members in a timely manner and drive resolution.
· Function as a problem solver; seek to identify innovative methods to resolve customer challenges and address the customer business needs.
· Participate in kick-off meetings and provide clear project requirement details to the engineering team.
· Work with Estimating and Engineering resources to identify delegation needs based on job size and labor availability.
· Travel to customer offices and relevant trade events as necessary.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Technical Degree with 6 years’ experience OR 8 years’ experience in the controls field.
· Minimum five years’ experience as the primary sales, engineering, or estimator for automations services. Experience should include, but not be limited to, PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s and other process controllers.
· Collaborate with a team performing estimating and customer service functions with supervision.
· Experienced in specification reading and interpretation for controls field and application requirements.
· Knowledgeable of latest industry application methods (software/networking/equipment).
· Basic computer literacy – Microsoft Office, e-mail, estimating programs.
· Able to interpret job specifications in a detailed and accurate manner - emphasis on obtaining clarification for any unclear areas.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, and business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will frequently be necessary.
