Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Associate - Construction Representative to manage the needs of a key customer account. This role combines sales, customer service, and product knowledge, and project management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for our key customer, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Order Processing: Manage order entry, tracking, and fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of our electrical products and services to provide accurate information and recommendations to the customer.
- Sales Support: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the customer’s organization to understand their needs and preferences.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure product availability and manage stock levels based on customer requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including logistics and technical support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Vendor Relationships: Collaborate with vendors to ensure product availability, negotiate pricing, and resolve any issues related to product quality or delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role, preferably in the electrical distribution or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical products and industry standards is a plus.
