POSITION: Hours will vary depending on position/need
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have or be able to obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education
- Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challengng tasks.
- Ability to work empathetically with at-risk students.
- Understanding of confidentiality of information about students and all school matters.
- Embodies high ehtical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) or similar specialized training(s) may be required.
- Physical Demands: Duties may require providing physical assistance to students
- Provides student assistance with daily living activities, behavior management, instructional support, social skills, task redirection, etc., as directed.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates (unless current employees) must pass a criminal background investigation prior to employment.
