The in-office Call Center Agent is part of the administrative team managing all incoming phone calls to our busy practice ensuring smooth day to day operations.

Description
The in-office Call Center Agent is part of the administrative team managing all incoming phone calls to our busy practice ensuring smooth day to day operations.
What you will do
- Responsible for answering and manages all incoming calls the office phone system:
- answering patients' questions, transferring incoming calls, ensuring patients inquiry is satisfied.
- Scheduling and verifying patient appointments.
- Prepares the office for patient upcoming appointments including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, confirming appointments, and notifying patients of any special instructions before appointment.
- Verifies patient information including demographics and health insurance information.
- Provides exceptionally friendly customer service and proper phone etiquette to every patient.
- Assist with any miscellaneous task to ensure the practice is presentable to all incoming patients.
- Strong customer service skills and communication expected.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One to three years as a medical secretary preferred.
- Experience with EMR strongly preferred. (Athena a plus)
