The Nurse Coordinator reports directly to the Practice Manager for administrative issues and to the Physician for clinical issues.

Description
The Nurse Coordinator reports directly to the Practice Manager for administrative issues and to the Physician for clinical issues.
What you will do
- Overseeing and coordinating all clinical support activities in the physician office.
- Providing professional clinical assistance to patients within the clinic in support of the physicians.
- Act the liaison between the patient and the physicians for establishing and maintaining quality patient care
- Maintains professional license through practice-based continuing education programs
- As a member of clinic management, ensures that the clinic meets all code and accreditation standards (OSHA,DPH,JCAHO,CLIA,HIPAA).
- Utilizes clinical teamwork to oversee the interdisciplinary plan of care:
- Assesses the patient and family as appropriate
- Plans and implements clinical care and facilitates its delivery to patients and family members
- Evaluates the process and outcome of clinical services in the clinic and makes suggestions for improvement
- Documents according to clinic policies utilizing the EMR
- Graduate of accredited License Practical Nursing Program
- 3 or more years in a clinical setting, preferably in office settings related to internal medicine sub-specialties.
- Current licensure in Massachusetts as a Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Excellent customer service skills.
