Title: Product Security / Cybersecurity Engineer - Medical Device
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to embed Secure by Design principles in product development.
- Contribute to improving internal security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Create and maintain: o Security architecture diagrams o Design documentation o Threat models Conduct ongoing security assessments for products and connectivity solutions.
- Perform risk analysis and support vulnerability remediation.
- Participate in product design reviews, contributing security requirements and controls.
- Provide code review support and validate secure development practices.
- Assist with DevSecOps, including: o Automation of security testing o Security tooling setup and maintenance o Securing CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Monitor in-market products and assist with incident response if required.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on product and system security.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years in: Computer/network security Cybersecurity risk assessment Cloud platform security (Azure preferred) Software development & secure coding Windows/Linux systems administration Experience with: o Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) o Application security (OWASP, CWE) o Threat Modeling (e.g., STRIDE) o Scripting/programming (PowerShell, Python, C#, C ) o Security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST, vulnerability scanners) o DevSecOps and cloud CI/CD pipelines
