What You'll Do:
- Empower and Support: Assist our clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration, ensuring they lead dignified lives.
- Engage and Participate: Take part in creating educational and recreational activities that promote our clients' physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and conflict resolution
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals in need of childcare or assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, progress, and any incidents that occur
- Advocate and Encourage: Be the voice of our clients, advocating for their needs and encouraging them to achieve their personal goals.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with healthcare professionals and families to provide holistic support tailored to each individual's needs.

- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with autism, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
- Understand and implement client-specific Individual Instructional Support Plans (IISP) and actively work toward achieving and documenting client goals.
- Provide necessary services as outlined in the IISP, including operating equipment such as the Hoyer Lift as needed.
- Ensure accurate and thorough completion of logbooks and client activity documentation, including daily data collection.
- Monitor and document medication administration in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Respond immediately to emergencies, following established protocols.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, coworkers, and office staff.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team, maintaining professional relationships.
- Utilize electronic documentation systems for client records.
- Transport clients to appointments using a personal vehicle as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.75 - $22.75 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
