Material Handler Job Description
Job Summary : We are looking for a dedicated and organized Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for replenishing SKUs, conducting audits, and performing cycle counts of warehouse and pick line locations, as well as receiving materials upon delivery. This role requires the use of an RF scanner, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Safety is a top priority, and the candidate must be able to operate a pallet jack and carry out other tasks as needed.
Job Duties :
- Use RF scanner for inventory management and SKU replenishment.
- Perform audits and cycle counts of warehouse and pick line locations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trucks, receipt and put-away of goods.
- Assemble products for production builds and assist with production-related activities as needed.
- Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries.
- Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse facility and ensure a clean work area.
- Lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Operate a forklift (both sit-down and stand-up versions) and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper stacking, blocking, and interlocking of materials to prevent hazards.
- Comply with all company policies, rules, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work overtime on an ad hoc basis.
- Multitask and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Work as a key team member and effectively communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
