Role
Directing and administering the operational efforts of a high-volume branch and/or multi-branch territory. Oversee the full range of products and services to members and prospective members through direct supervision of the Assistant Manager and/or Teller Supervisor, Tellers and MSRs. Ensures exceptional, quality member service is provided in an accurate and timely fashion. This position represents the Credit Union by fostering new business relationships and engaging employee groups within the community. Promotes a sales-oriented approach across respective areas. The position is equally sales and service focused.
Duties
- Coordinate, direct, and monitor the actions of the Assistant Branch Manager and/or Teller Supervisor, MSRs and Tellers. Responsible for the effectiveness of each employee in meeting members’ needs.
- Instill a sales and growth-minded approach throughout branch territories. Mentor and coach Assistant Branch Manager, MSRs, and Tellers to increase sales and promotion of all products and services offered by Revity Credit Union.
- Develop business relationships by promoting Revity Credit Union among the surrounding communities. Participate in and attend local organizations (example: Rotary) to represent Revity accordingly.
- Assist in the hiring and training of branch personnel. Ensure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory performance at the branch, including training, coaching and discipline, including termination of employees within the branch.
- Work cohesively with other branch managers and departments to ensure a consistent workflow between locations.
- Ensures compliance with rules, regulations, and Credit Union policies relating to teller/MSR functions.
- Maintain current knowledge of Mortgage related products, promotions, and the ability to communicate such with the membership.
- Approves/denies loans within Credit Union policies and guidelines.
- Provides Financial Counseling to members requesting financial review or consultations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
- Two to five years of similar or related experience and a two year college degree or completion of specialized course of study.
- One to three years of business development/sales experience in the financial industry.
- The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
