Job Responsibilities :

• Assemble engine for dyno testing : put on cart, testing instruments hooked up and fill with oil.
• Prepare engines for dynamometer testing and install engine in test cell. Connect engine to test cell systems (e.g., fuel, power, coolant) and operate test controls.
• Execute tests; ensure completed test results are to specification. Ensure the accuracy of test data; provide technical support to aid in troubleshooting engine issues.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair engine test cell equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, fans, relays).
• Organize, maintain, and track the inventory of the test equipment (e.g., instrumentation, dynamometers, process control); ensure that the test equipment is calibrated and working properly.

• Archive, manage and update raw test data and test run logs.
• Carry out duties in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws; study, standardize and recommend procedures to improve departmental efficiency.
• Follow all Standard Work instructions.
• Report to department lead and help resolve failures in the dyno cell.
• Operate stationary or moving overhead hoists, baskets and carts.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
• Perform other related operations required or directed. May work at different work stations as production needs require.

Physical Demands :

This job requires employee to stand for 8-10 hours while using hands, vision and arm strength. Employee must be able to walk, lift or move up to 50 pounds and must be able to torque, crimp and grasp. Work Environment :

The environment on the shop floor may be loud, hot and humid in the summer months and involves standing on cement floors.

Minimum Skills and Abilities :

Pay : We offer salaries and opportunities for career growth. Starting pay for this position typically falls within the range of $20-$21 per hour.. corresponding with experience.
