Job Description

About Revive Environmental :

Revive Environmental, a clean technology spin-out from Battelle Memorial Institute, is at the forefront of environmental technology, specializing in innovative solutions for the treatment of toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) technologies. Revive Environmental operates a wastewater treatment as a service business model, which means we take a customer's waste project (one-time or continuous) and deliver a closed loop PFAS destruction service. We do not stop until we provide a documented proof of destruction of the contaminant in question. Committed to sustainability and excellence, we lead the industry in providing advanced PFAS treatment solutions while upholding values of integrity, collaboration, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellence.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineer to support our efforts in the destruction of PFAS using SCWO.

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and optimizing Revive Environmental SCWO technologies. Responsibilities include analyzing, designing, and implementing operational continuous improvements; design and process troubleshooting and optimization; data analysis; documenting and reporting on technical findings; and collaboration with operations and engineering teams. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational understanding and optimizing performance and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have the mechanical engineering acumen and applied hands-on experience in mechanical engineering ideally with knowledge in SCWO technology and environmental remediation processes. The candidate will support efforts to improve throughput utilizing current technologies while supporting the creation of new, innovative, scalable re-design that allows Revive Environmental to achieve bold growth goals.
