Position Summary
ReVive Orthopedics Spine & Sports Medicine is seeking a skilled and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for delivering excellent patient care, supporting physicians with clinical and administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support:
- Assist with the efficient turnover of exam rooms and maintain them in a clean and organized condition.
- Escort patients from the waiting room to exam rooms and document medical history in electronic charts (e-chart).
- Perform pre-operative clinical tasks, including attaching diagnostic illustrations, MRI reports, and X-ray results to patient notes.
- Obtain and record vital signs, weight, and other necessary patient information.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as injections, aspirations, castings, and other treatments.
- Collect and prepare samples (e.g., urine, blood) for testing and perform routine lab tests.
- Schedule pain management procedures and follow up on diagnostic imaging results.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding post-visit care, including medication usage, home exercises, and the use of medical devices such as braces or crutches.
- Act as a liaison between patients and physicians, ensuring patient concerns are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
- Alert physicians of patient allergies or special considerations before starting exams or procedures.
- Ensure patient charts are complete and ready for physician use.
- Complete forms, including handicap parking permits, FMLA documentation, disability forms, and work excuses.
- Manage medical orders and obtain necessary medical records for review and approval.
- Document patient phone calls and follow up as needed.
- Follow sterile techniques and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant clinical environment.
- Monitor and maintain clinical supplies, replenishing as necessary.
- Oversee the disposal of biohazardous waste according to safety standards.
- Dedicate up to 10 hours per week to marketing activities, such as visiting referral sources to foster professional relationships.
- Learn and perform phlebotomy as required by the practice.
Qualifications
- Education & Certification:
- Must be a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Georgia.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 experience in a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
- Skills & Attributes:

- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between practice locations.
