Job Description
Responsible for collating and reviewing a broad range of information sources to analyze and report on the effectiveness of IT vendors. As an IT Vendor Manager Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective management and optimization of our relationships with external vendors providing IT services and solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing vendor performance, negotiating contracts, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
How you will do it
The Vendor Management Analysts will be held accountable for the following responsibilities :
- Oversee the end-to-end contractor bid process, including RFP (Request for Proposal) creation, and final award.
- Analyzes vendor management data, monitors the quality of vendor services, and identifies opportunities for program improvement.
- Assists with vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contract administration.
- Monitors, analyzes, and maintains vendor information and documentation.
- Analyzes vendor relationships, determining due diligence requirements and measuring risks.
- Tracks vendor activities, including the development and analysis of internal and vendor produced information.
- Ensures vendors are evaluated and approved in accordance with regulatory and company policies.
- Coordinates the introduction of new vendor services to internal departments, including training and development of program materials.
- Serve as a dedicated, centralized Vendor Management subject matter expert for key business partners and vendors
- Apply strategic understanding of vendor policies and procedures associated with vendor sourcing and purchase contracts
- Provide support to Vendor Managers in commercial negotiations for pricing and terms.
- Provide accurate advice about vendor performance issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing vendor contracts
- Report on the performance of vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual and performance metrics to ensure quality of service
- Build and maintain key relationships with vendors, technical staff and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues, identify opportunities and inform of vendor strategies
- Apply risk management and compliance checks when researching and analyzing IT vendor and contract performance to identify potential risks and trigger risk mitigation and management
- May be responsible for other projects and responsibilities as assigned
