The candidate will be able to describe core functions of a Spectrum Manager, have a basic knowledge of spectrum technologies, describe basic responsibilities of spectrum management and analysis, and gain knowledge on tools and techniques.
The candidate will have experience and understanding of managing the use of the radio spectrum in order to minimize interference and ensure radio spectrum is used to its most efficient extent and benefit for the DHS.
The candidate should have experience with spectrum management software, operation, and analysis concepts and procedures through the understanding of Spectrum Management Theory and Policies
The candidate must have understanding of FCC and NTIA regulations, policies and procedures.
The candidate mush have knowledge and understanding of technical documentation, presentation of that documentation and project management.
