Job Description
In the Forklift Operator position, you are responsible for moving packages and material around our warehouse. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care. Operators present themselves in a positive and professional manner, maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient warehouse environment. This shift is from 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday with Saturday 7:00am – 11:00am rotating shifts. Duties and Essential Job Functions
- Load and unload merchandise and materials from in-coming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Transport raw materials to production workstations.
- Assess, evaluate, and interpret machinery to determine the need for repairs, while securing safety by performing regular maintenance checks.
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.

Compensation: $16.80- $19.49
Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Former forklift certification and use of pallet jack required.
- Prior experience in using merchandise handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, two-wheel dollies, and box cutters.
- Understanding of safety policies and practices.
- Effective communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Detail-oriented and possessing basic time-management skills.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged standing and/or sitting for duration of shift
- Working forklift for a majority of shift
- Varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level
- Potential use of merchandise equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks
- Use of ladders
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather elements and conditions
- The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. of material weight, unassisted
- Repetitive stooping, lifting, twisting
Salary : $17 - $19
