As a Front-End Supervisor, your day-to-day duties may include and are not limited to the following:
- Supervise, train, and mentor front-end associates, ensuring high levels of productivity and engagement.
- Ensure all customers receive outstanding service at checkout, handling escalations and resolving issues efficiently.
- Oversee registers, handle cash discrepancies, and ensure accurate end-of-day reconciliations.
- Manage staffing levels, coordinate breaks, and optimize checkout flow to reduce wait times.
- Monitor and troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS) systems, self-checkouts, and digital payment solutions.
- Ensures daily product strategies are implemented and managed daily.
- Ensure that all merchandise is shop-able – bins are free of excessive clutter and trash.
- Delegates and assists the store taking out trash, dusting and mopping store floors, cleaning restrooms and stockroom.
- Assist with setting up store displays.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Management may assign other tasks as needed.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with modern POS systems, digital wallets, and self-checkout technology.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle escalations.
- Attend daily morning huddles to identify the top priorities for the day.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
- The ability to manage physical tasks, such as lifting, reaching, standing, bending, and lifting products up to 40 pounds for prolonged periods of time, and staying active throughout your shift.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Be dependable, flexible and treat others with kindness and respect.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail leadership experience preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
