What are the responsibilities and job description for the Omaha Store Manager II position at Revlogical LLC?
Retail Rebel will soon be opening a new Store in Omaha, Nebraska!
At Retail Rebel, the Omaha location's Store Manager reports to the District Manager. This position is responsible for supervising daily operations, sales, and employees at the Council Bluffs location. Responsibilities include building and maintaining staff schedules, working with customers on the sales floor, review supply and demand for product, make hiring decisions, store upkeep including opening and/or closing, and upholds store policies for safety and production.
Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- Implements the vision and expectations of the Regional Director and owner
- Completes opening and/or closing duties for the store and ensures the store is reset for the next day
- Actively coaches team members, provides feedback, builds relationships, and motivates them to accomplish daily goals
- Consistently supervises the floor to ensure customer engagement and efficiency in processes
- Anticipates the needs of customers, and communicates needs to the regional director
- Understands and upholds all store policies Partners with Merchandising lead to ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld
- Creates staff schedules and ensures labor cost meets expected metrics
- Handles all monetary procedures in the store. Adheres to policies and procedures regarding cash on hand, deposit drops, cash shortages, and drawer counts
- Ensures supply and demand of product is upheld
- Works in conjunction with the Utility manager to operate at the highest possible level
- Plans and executes daily huddles to communicate important information to the team
- Interviews, hires, and works through transition of employees
- Evaluates team performance and provides immediate coaching
- Provides thoughtful reviews within given timelines for our Pay for Performance Program
- Ensures all safety standards are met for customers and employees
- Ensures the store has appropriate signage and maintains a clean and professional look
Working Conditions:- Prolonged standing and/or sitting for duration of shift
- Potential use of merchandise equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks
- Proper lifting up to 30 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Occasional climbing (using ladder)
- Fast paced, at times unpredictable work environment, moderate noise levels
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A minimum of 2 years of consecutive management experience
- Retail management experience preferred
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- High aptitude for metrics and process oriented
- Available for day, weekend, and night shifts
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift to 40 lbs.
- Compensation:
- Starting window of pay: $36,375.00 - $41,100.00 per year (based on experience)
- Additional Bonus Potential of $3,000 annual (paid out quarterly)
- If hired, candidate will work/train in the Council Bluffs facility prior to Omaha location's opening.
