Job Summary:

As a Poker Room Host, you will be the face of the poker room, providing exceptional guest service by managing the check-in process, seating players, and ensuring smooth table rotations. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming, engaging, and professional poker environment that reflects the excitement and energy of Revo Casino & Social House.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Guest Check-In and Seating:**

- Greet guests warmly and handle all poker room check-ins at the podium.

- Manage player waitlists and seat guests efficiently according to table availability and limits.

- Communicate clearly with dealers to coordinate table assignments.

**Player Engagement:**

- Foster a friendly, professional environment that encourages repeat visits.

- Build rapport with poker players, recognizing regular guests and their preferences.

- Handle player inquiries, explain game offerings, and provide guidance on poker room procedures.

**Operational Support:**

- Monitor the flow of tables, ensuring game efficiency and minimizing downtime.

- Assist with tournament check-ins and player registration as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of player seating and game logs.

- Support poker room promotions and special events, providing details to guests and encouraging participation.

**Service Standards:**

- Uphold all gaming regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance at all times.

- Resolve minor guest complaints and escalate issues when necessary.

- Keep the podium area organized and presentable at all times.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in hospitality, gaming, or guest services preferred.

- Knowledge of poker and general table games operations is highly desirable.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Must obtain and maintain appropriate gaming license as required by state regulations.

**Weekend Shift**

4PM - 12 AM

(20-24 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.

Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift.
