Position Summary:

As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service to guests by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests warmly, assist them with seating, and provide menus.

2. Take orders accurately and promptly, ensuring that special requests and dietary preferences are noted.

3. Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner, adhering to presentation and quality standards.

4. Ensure that orders are delivered accurately and promptly to the correct tables.

5. Familiarize yourself with the casino's menu offerings, including food and beverage selections.

6. Offer recommendations and provide information about menu items to assist guests in making choices.

7. Establish a positive rapport with guests, engaging in friendly conversation and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

8. Present bills to guests and provide change as needed.

9. Set up and prepare tables for guest dining, ensuring that table settings are clean and attractive.

10. Assist in clearing and resetting tables for the next guests.

11. Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth and coordinated service.

12. Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, verifying the legal drinking age and following casino policies.

13. Comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.

Position Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, for interacting with guests and colleagues.

· Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.

· Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

· Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

$20-$25 per hour (base wage plus tips). Tips vary by location and will fluctuate.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.

Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift.
